During the last two weeks in March we raised the 2650 square foot France frame in Ste-Marthe, Quebec. The Frame sits on a beautiful hillside lot with views to the Adirondack Mountains on a clear day. Once again we had the chance to harvest almost all of the timber from a property belonging to the client's friend in the eastern townships. Hemlock, pine, tamarack, spruce, white oak, birch and cherry timber of outstanding quality are celebrated in this frame. Once the frame was 'topped out' and drams of whiskey passed around, work began the next morning on the stress skin panel installation.
