The Guntner residence

During the week of August 23rd we raised this 2200 square foot extension to an historic stone home in Hudson, Quebec. Made mostly of white pine the frame incorporates cherry, ash and beech braces as well as white oak and hemlock summer beams where more strength was needed. Another nice feature was a carved tudor arch made in ash, that frames a pass-through opening between kitchen and living room.
