| The Kerriou Residence: 4500 square feet, Trebeurden, Brittany, France This white oak timber frame was raised on the north coast of Brittany during one of the windiest weeks of 2007. The frame is based on a traditional French design traditionally found in the region, and incorporates a timber framed oak staircase, complete with mortice & tenoned handrails and wedged treads. The site is spectacular and looks out over the “Pink Granite Coast”, famous for its beautiful outcroppings of rose coloured granite, used as a building material throughout Britanny. Many thanks to our clients Yannick & Kirstie for their faith, vision & great hospitality.
Excavation & foundation contractor: Yann Toupin
